As many friendships between writers start, the friendship between Wishful Inkers members began with Camp NaNoWriMo. Being in a digital cabin together had up to twenty writers rooting each other on and striving for their complicated goals.

When NaNoWriMo ended, however, like children at the end of a birthday party, they didn’t want to go home. So they decided to keep going, and the idea of an anthology was born!

You would think an anthology would be enough, but the team took it one step further,  and the idea of the non profit was born! Every issue will feature a different charity, chosen by a featured member of Wishful Inkers. This featured member will also share a Q and A about themselves, their work, and the featured charity for that issue.
